Birthday Time

So what do you do for a boy that's turning 14???!!! That has been the question I have been asking myself for a month now.... I have been searching online for ideas of something special to make for him, I made the fresh flower cake centerpiece for Kenzie's sweet sixteen, But boys don't like flowers lol....
Well I kept finding pictures of candy cakes, So I thought I would give it a try....
So here is how I did it:
  •  double side tape
  • 2 12" floral oasis wreaths in plastic packaging (dry flower oasis)
  • 2 smaller oasis pieces in plastic packaging (dry flower oasis)
  • hot glue
  • cardboard
  • Birthday decor
  • Most importantly CANDY!!!! lots of Candy ( I also used packets of gum)
I started by hot gluing the two floral rings with cardboard between the two rings together.  Next I added another piece of cardboard to the top. Then I  hot glued two smalled pieces of oasis to the cardboard. After that I just started building the candy around it. To attach the candy the the foam I used double sided tape. After I got all the candy attached I started adding decor. Here is my finished product....
Super easy took about 30 min start to finish and cost around $15.00

So the first level is peanut butter cups, then gum is surrounding the 2nd level, and on the top under the bow is kisses. I forgot to take pics before I added all the deor I was just so excited to get it finished and see my final work!!!
